Screw holes line the outer rim, and grooves are cut into the case between its lugs.
The board is noticeably different to previous iPhone logic boards, and although it appears to be just a prototype part without any labeling,
its screw holes line up perfectly with the purported iPhone 5 casings we've already seen — as you can see from the image below.

(side note, I purchased this workbench from Goodwill for $ 8) My toddler practiced
lining up the
screw with the predrilled
holes.
The instructions were very easy to follow and all of the
screw and dowel
holes lined up perfectly.
Then I
lined these
holes up, and drilled in
screws.
I'm sure we can
line up the
screw holes better than that, MSI!
There are also two
screws in between the case and
line - in cable that we then
screwed into the bottom
holes of the unit.
In my case, the hardest part (and it wasn't really hard) was
lining up the thermostat base, marking where the
holes needed to be for the
screws (which were included in the package), and physically
screwing them in while making sure everything stays level (and yes, the base has a built - in level as you can see above).

Using a level I drew a
line where I wanted my light to hang and marked my
screw holes accordingly.
After the anchors were added, we put the board back on the ceiling,
lined up the
holes in the board over the anchors, and added
screws to secure the board in place.
Modern flat pack carcases (think Ikea or B&Q) tend to be made on a CNC machine, which improves the chances that all
holes and
screws will
line up.
