This
exhibition is a part of a series of

in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to talk about and
select pieces for Of Plectics, Swan's forthcoming solo
exhibition at Centotto Gallery, slated to open later this month.

exhibition features work dating from 1950 - 2011, specially
selected for Lismore and includes

exhibition includes
selected works from SFCB's Imprint Publications Artist
in Residence and Small Plates editions, large scale prints from eight years of Roadworks: A Steamroller Printing Festival, and juried
pieces from SFCB's celebrated instructors and students.
It was her job to

in their archive.
She is joined on the short list by Laure Prouvost, 35, a French artist and filmmaker who works
in London, and was nominated for «Wantee,» a performance
piece, and several
exhibitions; Tino Sehgal, 36, a British - born, Berlin - based artist,
selected for his «This Variation» and «These Associations»
exhibitions; and David Shrigley, 44, a British artist known for his darkly humorous works (including a stuffed Jack Russell terrier holding a sign that reads, «I Am Dead»), shortlisted for «Brain Activity,» a retrospective of his drawings, photography, sculpture and film.
As well as this epicentre of activity
in New York,
select pieces from the» 700 Nimes Road» collection are also being displayed
in LA at LACMA's Pacific Design Center
in West Hollywood; while an entirely distinct portrait
exhibition opens at LA's Hammer Museum on 30 January this year.

Exhibition at the Bowery Gallery
in New York City.
Thus it may come as a surprise that,
in addition to recent and
selected early light
pieces, our
exhibition includes sculptures made of wood and bamboo.
The thirty - two works
in the
exhibition, consisting of sculptures, installation works, gouaches, and fabric
pieces, and dating from 1947 to 2009, have all been
selected with a view to illuminating this underlying dynamic.
