The images he captured have formed the foundation of a major national archive, and an exhibition of selected images has travelled to more than 200 cities in 60 countries.

Hall met Pete Eckert and Alice Wingwall, the Guild's other two members, in 2009 when their work was selected by curator Douglas McCulloh to be part of the traveling exhibition called Sight Unseen: International Photography by Blind Artists, which was on view at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

His painting In a Mist (1955) was selected by Dorothy Miller for her traveling exhibition Young American Painters, organized for the Museum of Modern Art in 1956.

These notions include travel, perseverance, the initiative journey, spiritual growth, home and family, deceptions of reality and comradeship amongst many others, these themes can be witnessed throughout the exhibition and in particular in the group show featuring relevant works by artists selected by the collective.

Selected independent exhibitions include Once around the block (twice) a solo exhibition of work by Scott Kiernan at NURTUREart, Brooklyn, NY (2011), Call & Response, a group exhibition commissioned by the Newark Arts Council in Newark, NJ (2011) and 5C5C, a two - year curatorial project working with a team of five international curators resulting in a traveling exhibition.

In conjunction with the 2012 Bob Rauschenberg Gallery exhibition «Things Not Seen Before: A Tribute to John Cage» (which then travelled in expanded form to the National Gallery of Art / Tbilisi, Georgia — former Soviet Union), Schult was commissioned to paint a portrait of the late composer John Cage and to select records for our «John Cage's 33-1/3 — Performed by Audience» installation.
