It is a
shallow dive of 15 meters, slowly
sloping bottom with islands of coral
reef scattered going north to west.

shallow parts, giant elephant ears in the deeper parts, giant sponge barrels along the

Island beaches and coastlines may face extensive
shallows filled with coral heads, or transition into spur - and - groove coral
reefs that
slope downward to depths of 40 to 60 feet before turning into steep walls that can drop thousands of feet.
In general, sites begin on a beach, rock - covered shore or low coastal cliff, where near - shore
shallows from 10 to 50 yards in width lead to the upper end of a
sloping reef at depths of 25 to 30 feet.
The sandy
slopes stretch down from the
shallows all the way to the
reef wall.
The diving is pretty nice,
sloping reefs with healthy soft on the deeper areas and hard corals bommies in the
shallows.
We generally come across these gentle giants cruising the
shallow slopes of Shark point, Halik, Soraya
reef and Meno
slope, and plan our dives accordingly, if you are lucky enough to be diving around the full moon you have a very good chance of bumping into a massive school of them!
The emerald green waters hold numerous vertical walls, rugged caverns and caves, as well as
shallow coral gardens and
sloping reefs.
The
reef here is wide,
slopes gently and provides ample
shallow - water diving.
Second, an extensive gently
sloping, seemingly barren sand flat separates the
reef rim from
shallow reefs along the shore.
Dramatic topographies are common, while some sites offer more gradual
slopes and
shallow reefs.
After watching the show we work up the
reef slope and finish in the protected
shallows, where you'll find huge barrel sponges and coral bommies adorned with gorgonian fans of many species and colours.
Both dive sites have a mix of ridges, walls with overhangs, white sandy
slopes and very
shallow reef tops.
This is a
sloping reef dive site for everyone especially photographers as it starts in
shallow water and can go to 30 meters with fantastic marine life, table and boulder corals.
The
reef in the
shallows is not worth to dive, rubble outcrop was seriously damaged by the El - Nino in 1988, but at the steep
slope and the deep jagged wall is still in excellent condition, from 15 meters to over 50 meters is charming colourful
reef wall.
The fringing
reefs here are
shallow and
slope gently to the sea floor.
Here you will find a large
shallow reef with huge coral boulders before a gently
sloping wall into the deep.
One of the favorite sites here is the «Elbow,» which includes a steep
sloping drop - off as well as
shallow reef and a wrecked ship.
