A few days before the event I had the idea to tie in the generous
author giveaways with sharing posts about the event on Facebook.
Tell the
authors about it; hopefully some of them will
share your
giveaway with their followers.
I
share with you three ways that you, as an
author, can use
giveaways in this post.
Each
author shares the
giveaway link in their reader newsletter, on social media, and wherever else they connect
with readers.
Something different about this boxset, is that we'll be offering a monthly

with their list.

authors in our genres

sharing, so they have a viral effect.)

giveaway, and got Lauren Kate (
author of Fallen) to
share it
with her 222,625 followers (on Facebook, she also
shared on Twitter), which is pretty amazing.
I've blogged before about the book
giveaways I've been running — they work well and build a targeted list quickly — but the added value in book
giveaways is that the
authors you include are likely to
share your
giveaway with their following.
