This is much better than the color - screened
Sharper Image Literati's ($ 159, 2.5 stars) measly 4 - hours of battery life.
There are a bunch of other e-readers out there (including the Aluratek Libre, Velocity Cruz, Augen Book, Pandigital Novel, Cybook Opus, Ectaco JetBook,
Sharper Image Literati, and a bunch of Android - based tablet computers), but each suffers from serious problems: many use LCD screens that are harder on the eyes, yet don't even have the redeeming features of the iPad or Nook Color; several are overpriced; most of them lack features; and many don't interface easily with a decent e-book store.

It really helps Kobo to have their app come pre-bundled on a ton of devices, such as
the Sharper Image Literati.
They have e-reading applications for Blackberry, iOS, Android, PC, MAC, and have exclusive apps designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Blackberry Playbook and
the Sharper Image Literati.
Although I wouldn't particularly recommend it,
the Sharper Image Literati is on sale today for $ 49.99 plus $ 5 shipping at Woot.com.

We don't see prices for basic e-readers, on the main, shooting back above $ 200 again, especially as under - $ 200 color models, such as The
Sharper Image's
Literati, already exist.
Shipping to over 7000 retail stores sometime in October 2010 is the new
LITERATI E-Reader by
Sharper Image.

Literati by

Other color e-book readers have hit the market this year from smaller names, including

Sharper Image has instigated plenty of price cuts that has brought its
Literati e-Reader from $ 139 to now $ 39 at most Bed, Bath and Beyond locations.
