Shooting photos of your outfits does become VERY difficult during the winter months when the sun sets by 4PM and the days are freeezing cold.

of the best parts
of the experience was partnering Carolina Herrera to style the perfect
outfit for the
photo shoot.
Detailed
shots of your
outfit are the most reposted
photos from brands so don't be afraid to take some snapshots
of those sleeves or cool new shoes.
When I was younger I would dress up my sister in different
outfits and take pictures
of her like mini
photo shoots.
I ended up wearing this
outfit on the third day
of my NYC adventures, which included meetings with a PR firm, checking out the Addition Elle pop - up shop, spending some time at the Universal Standard showroom and being a bit
of a tourist by popping over to Radio City Music Hall (where the Mother premiere happened to be going on when we
shot these
photos).

I got a new point - and -
shoot for my birthday, which is the camera I've been using for my
outfit photos (most
of the time... a couple
of months ago I was still using my iPhone).
It takes a certain level
of dedication (and a wee bit
of crazy) to go outside in subzero temperatures, take off your jacket and
shoot outfit photos.

outfit after we celebrated «Freedom Sabbath» and decked out our local church in red, white and blue!
I have been so busy in the last couple
of weeks, so
outfit posts have been the last thing on my mind (sorry fashionistas) but I found style inspiration from somewhere a few days ago and
shot some
outfit photos.
Prior to the
photo shoot we were discussing details what to wear and Anthony said to wear a «flowy dress» for one
of the
outfits.
The dress I wore in my last post is my favorite

When I saw the
photos my dad

Lotte and I cycled to the place where we
shot the first ever
outfit photos for Thoughts in Style and we chose the perfect day to take
photos there because the leaves started falling and it was also kind
of foggy.
Of course, I had to include them in my
outfit photo shoot!
I love dressing up as much as the next person, but my Sundays tend to involve a mix
of brunch, blog
photo shoots, post writing, running errands, and cooking for the week so I'm always looking for a cute
outfit that go from brunch to the coffee shop to the grocery store without missing a beat.
Nothing screams V - Day like red pumps + a red bag... especially paired with a «Little Black
Outfit «♥ I actually didn't go for the LBD (crazy, I know) so instead I opted for a black floral top and an easy to mix + match black scuba skirt!Nothing makes editing
photos quite as enjoyable as finding funny
shots like this one haha That's the joy
of shooting with friends:p Let me break down my look — this top is a combination
of Faux Leather + a Floral Print... such a fun combo!
I am really satisfied with how the
photos of this
outfit turned out and I will definitely
shoot some more
outfit posts here but maybe when it's not that cold haha.
It was so hot and humid when we
shot these
photos and this was one
of my coolest
outfits out
of the bunch.
Shooting with Joel Barhamand was a million times more fun than the daily
outfit photos I take
of myself (especially because
of the added bonus
of having so many cool people to chat with for the few hours it took).
In addition, it was a pleasure to collaborate with one
of my favorite brands, Carolina Herrera, to style the perfect
outfit for the
photo shoot.
I mean long days full
of outfit changes and shows and events and
photo shoots in between.
It's been awhile since we had a chance to go out and
shoot outfit photos (we have been so focused on our little baby, as he was a newborn he needed 100 %
of our time and energy and now, as he's bigger - he's now 4 months old, he cries less and it's just easier to get things done!)
Part
of doing
outfit photos sometimes is just finding the perfect location, freezing my bum off and rushing to get the perfect
shot so I can get back indoors.
Outfit photos — Aim to fit your entire self into the frame, not forgetting some close up details
shots of your accessories or shoes.

So this past
outfit shoot I decided to listen to the advice
of my friends and fellow bloggers and try some
photos without sunglasses... just me and the eyes to my sole haha... not really but you get my point.

I've been loving my white sneaks for quite a while now and the switch out
of the white laces for black struck me as a great way to connect the shoes to the
outfit (even if I had to borrow them from my real trainers for the
photos because I forgot to buy new laces in time for the
photo shoot).
I actually haven't ever taken a
photo of the
outfit as a
shoot to see what it looks like, but I have done snaps when no mirror was around.
There are lots
of different locations here for nice
photo shootings — as you can see in this
outfit at the Morrocan garden.
I really adore this
outfit, but most
of all I love the
photo shoot here because you're holding a delicious glass
of wine.
Since it has been raining all week I haven't had a chance to
shoot any new
outfits so I'm taking some
photos out
of the archives here that I haven't used before.
In the process
of photo shooting both
outfits I realized there were two truck drivers parked in the empty lot staring at my husband and I.

outfit photo shots for my blog the kids are often times around and so today I am going to reveal to you how my hubby manages to take
photos of me while we have our kids near by.

Because life goes on and

of bed, smudges some make - up on my face and went out resulting into these

SHOOT, I'd better get upstairs and change the heck out

As such, I want to make more
of an effort to show you my work wardrobe, so I'll try to
shoot one
of these looks each time I take
outfit photos to balance out my obsession with OTS tops and dresses for the weekend.
We came up with two
outfits and decided that I would surprise Shell B with my choice the morning
of the
photo shoot.
Between running to grab the kids from school to
photo shoots and meetings; I don't have a ton
of time to think about my
outfit.
This is not a rule
of thumb and depends on everybody's personal tastes and
shooting style however, using movement in
outfit photos might add to them that natural touch that something might be missing.
Our
photo shoots are pretty much like a girls night with a ton
of outfit changes.
