The rise in popularity of pre-sliced meat has

Tip # 1:
Make sure you use a good mandoline
slicer and cut them on the thinnest setting.
I don't have a
slicer so I'll
make sure to slice the chips really thinly.
It's helpful to use a mandolin
slicer, as even the sharpest knife will leave your parsnips thick in places and thin in others, which will
make them soggy and / or burnt.
And similar to the egg
slicer trick — my kids also like to use a wire cheese
slicer to help
make grilled cheese or just get a snack.
