All In One cloth diapers did away with the notion of cloth diaper folding,

Tighter woven fabrics, like hemp, will not work with the
snappi fastener - it can not get a grip of the
cloth diaper to secure it around baby.
This fold can work with any prefold diaper, but if you want to use the
Snappi, you must use a
cloth diaper the grippers can get a «hold» in.
If you are new to
cloth diapers and want to use prefolds you have mostly heard of a «
Snappi».

Traditional versus Better Fit Traditional Fit prefold
cloth diapers can be secured to baby with diaper pins,
Snappi Fasteners or placed in diaper cover and trifolded (sides folded over the middle) with the extra length then folded over in front or back for additional absorbency.
They are a looser fit, so the
cloth diaper underneath must be fastened securely with diaper pins, a
Snappi, or have another style of closure such as snaps or Velcro before pulling on the cover.
