The hope is that even if its old territory eventually becomes inhospitable, as experts predict it will, the
larch and other trees will thrive in their new homes, and
so will British Columbia's economy.
What I see from these deconstructions is that one algorithm will have difficulty fitting all tree ring ages (at least for the Yamal
larches) and if that is the case I wonder if there has been any thought in the dendro community of increasing sample sizes
so that only a certain segment of tree ring ages is used?
