Sonic Boom Wii U / 3DS may not have been the Sonic game we wanted, but it seems that the cartoon series is holding its own.

In 2014, we saw the introduction of the Sonic Boom subfranchise, and to put it bluntly, the games therein stank — but the CGI cartoon series remains on the air, is in its second season and attracts high ratings, so it's not all bad.
