All you need is one to

Sonos system, including brilliant app

control via an Alexa - enabled device and fantastic multi-room capabilities, as well as the additional TV functions.
In that case, Pandora users are able to
control their
Sonos speaker using the
controls within the music service's app.

speaker system is a bit out of your budget or that it doesn't offer your particular criteria for easy music streaming (i.e., it's

Sonos» deal all the more enticing, as for # 40 more, you can have two incredibly good
speakers, Alexa voice
control and multi-room audio right from the off.

Sonos One are able to use voice
controls to play music from Spotify.
Wink users can add basically any
Sonos speaker to their Wink Hub 2 and
control it through Wink's smart home app, just like you'd add a new light bulb or thermostat to the system.
The Good The
Sonos One integrates full - fledged Alexa voice
control, just like an Amazon Echo
speaker but with better sound quality.
Also coming to
Sonos is Apple's AirPlay 2, allowing
control of the
speaker from any Siri - enabled devices like iPhones ($ 809.00 at Amazon.com) and iPads.
What's more, once you have a
Sonos One on your network, you can
control all your other
Sonos speakers with voice commands, too — and from any Alexa - compatible
speaker (the
Sonos One, however, is the only smart
speaker in the
Sonos lineup).
The
Sonos One is basically a version of its Play: 1
speaker, except that the One is powered by Amazon's Alexa allowing users to access the thousands of Alexa skills available and to
control their
speaker with voice commands.
Comparing both smart
speakers to the
Sonos Play: 1 — which, admittedly, has no voice
control smarts — was simply no contest: The
Sonos sounds like it's playing music, whereas the two voice assistants can only approximate it.
If you want to
control your Fire TV device with an Alexa - enabled
speaker like the new Amazon Echo or
Sonos One, you'll first need to link the devices together using the Amazon Alexa app, You'll also need 2 GB of RAM with 8 GB of internal storage.
