Here, players must complete three
challenges: take a photo of a car at a specific location, surpass a point goal by driving recklessly (drifting, near misses, destroying fences and tables, etc.) and beating the record at a
speed trap.
The only open world activities are stock standard
challenges such as
speed traps, jumps, and drift zones; and collection items such as smashable billboards and poker chips that pad your bank account.
Speed traps, collectibles like breakable billboards and chips, jump
challenges, and of course, racing activities that require that your car be a certain level to compete in.
If none of that takes my fancy, I could drive as fast as possible through a
speed trap, set a distance record off a stunt jump, go looking for a classic car hidden in an abandoned barn, smash bonus boards for XP, or
challenge any of the AI racers populating my open world to an ad - hoc head - to - head race.
Some motorists such as Dean Winton have successfully
challenged «flashing your lights» tickets in court by arguing that this statute is clearly «aimed at stopping motorists from operating flashing lights to imply they're driving official or emergency vehicles» — not at people who flash their headlights to warn of a
speed trap (or, I would imagine, to inform an oncoming driver that his high beams are on).
