Among the books, all
of which either wear their contemporary paper jackets or are recent paper -
backs, on the
shelves that climb the walls, are displayed plastic reproductions
of such things as a Tibetan prayer wheel, African masks, a cross or two, a grinning gargoyle, several Indian - temple loving couples, and (
standing in a corner) a crosier.
So they know what it is like to
stand in the grocery store, holding
back tears while mentally counting out the coins in your hand... your heart beating to the antcipation
of what precious item you might need to put
back on the
shelf.
The TV
stand we purchased is actually a sideboard, so we drilled holes in the
