As you race through various
events such as normal races, time trials, elimination races, and
stunt challenges, you'll be rewarded stars, cash, and experience according to how well you did.

Outside of normal races you've got battle races where you can use weapons to take out opponents, takedown
events where you're tasked with smashing down an almost endless amount of smaller cars,

I love that Anna can differentiate between the various types of
challenges (races,
stunt locations, bucket lists, festival
events), so that you'll never feel pressured into doing
challenges that don't suit your taste.
Every
event type including race, battle race,
stunt showcase, takedown, best lap
challenge and even master - level
events are all playable in split - screen as individual
events or within any of the 16 official championship series and customised championships.
Creating your own
events is a fun distraction, if you can find anyone to join you in playing it, that is, and tackling the new
stunt challenges is a great time - sink that will make grinding for points a much more palatable and enjoyable experience outside of the more basic
challenges on offer.

Skill based
challenges come in the form of hitting targets on the race track, completing the
event within a time limit and perhaps the trickiest of them all keeping your combo meter at 100 % by continuously performing
stunt combinations.
Which is a problem because while the
stunts can be fun, the Bucket List
challenges run about 50/50, and the drifting
events are all the same and always tedious.
For those who've never played a Forza Horizon game, this open world racing series has you driving in point - to - point and multi-lap races on city roads and dirt tracks, as well as random street races, Drifting and other kinds of
challenges, and even some
stunt events.
There are also, as there were in Forza Horizon 2, some stretches of the Forza Horizon 3 «s career, especially early on, that are long on Bucket List
challenges, drifting
events, and
stunts, and short on actual races.
