We'll explore each of the three Gili Islands on our own private pontoon, stopping
off along the way to snorkel in crystal clear waters and
swim with sea
turtles right
off the shore.
Chances are, it was something truly special, like
swimming under a waterfall, or paragliding
off a cliff, or snorkeling
with rays, or watching sea
turtles lay their eggs.
Explore pristine coral formations and

turtles, eagle ray, manta ray, moray eel, and schools of fish as you drift along the outer reef wall and ocean drop -
offs just a short 3 to 10 minutes from your room.
One of our PADI professionals will give you an introduction to scuba in the pool and if you like it, you can then come out to the sea and have

off our Gili Islands.

off the shore, where you'll see tropical fish, sea
turtles and shellfish (equipment included); go
swimming in the shallow water; or just enjoy soaking up the sunshine without dealing
with typical beach crowds.

turtles, occasional spinner dolphins, and an abundance of colorful Hawaiian tropical fish.
Afterwards, you have time to

The reef is protected and cordoned
off with buoys, but go round the buoys and you will see lots of fishes, and perhaps even a reef shark, but certainly parrot fish, and very often sea
turtles to
swim with.

Several companies provide a hotel pick up and drop
off along
with snorkelling gear on board, for those willing to jump into the crystal clear waters and observe the sea life and
swim with the
turtles.
So over the side of the boat I go, just
off Lady Elliot Island in the Southern Great Barrier Reef — this is one of the best places in the world to
swim with manta rays (and
turtles too).
