Switch games on sale this weekend, though there are a few.

In recent months, Nintendo's
sales have gotten a boost from the introduction of other cult classic
games on the
Switch, including the Legend of Zelda.
In the latest issue, Nintendo Dream shares some
sales data for third - party
games on Nintendo
Switch as of Week 48 (December 3rd)!
Kirby Star Allies was somewhat of a
sales revival for the Pink Puff; while most Kirby installments sell well, Star Allies is more successful than most of the
games released in the last few years, likely due to its launch
on Nintendo
Switch.
Nintendo may want to consumers buy the platform, but unless they're suddenly going to have a huge horde of
Switch units for the Animal Crossing fans to buy around the time the
game releases, they are going to risk losing out
on a huge chunk of change that will greatly impact launch
sales figures, so it is in their best interest to cater to both platforms, but obviously make the
Switch version better to look at and give it deluxe status.

For Christmas, Nintendo had a major
sale on the Nintendo eShop in Europe, with over 350
games on Nintendo
Switch, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS discounted for a couple of weeks.
If the
game manages to perform well
on Switch from both a gameplay and
sales perspective, I really think this could pique the interest of other developers, such as Slightly Mad Studios.
The various Nintendo
Switch games in the Top 20 all saw an increase in
sales this week (despite the drop in Hardware
sales), thanks to the public holiday
on Friday and the recent launch of Super Mario Odyssey bringing in lots of new users hungry for
games.
Media Create believes that the announcement of Monster Hunter World
on PlayStation 4 had a negative impact
on sales for Monster Hunter XX Nintendo
Switch Ver., with a certain number of players simply deciding to wait for that
game instead.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is off to a great start: the
game soared to the top of the
sales chart as the best selling title
on the
Switch eShop last week, followed by previous week's winner Rocket League, and Super Mario Odyssey at third.
Stardew Valley had a great launch
on the
Switch: the
game debuted at the number one spot
on the
Switch eShop, and the weekly
sales chart from Nintendo reveals that the cute farming sim stayed as the best selling
game all week.

Super Meat Boy's first day of

Switch were apparently «shockingly close» to how the
game performed when it was originally released
on Xbox 360 back in 2010 according to the
game's developer.
This one is holding rather well so far, and
sales on the long run promise to be interesting: are they going to go up as more Nintendo
Switch consoles are shipped to retailers, or they will just slowly fade away, as the
game is replaced by new, more popular releases?

on Xbox One and PS4 (and that's when it isn't in a
sale, which it currently is).

It looks like the
sales for those two
games are quite steady, which is a good thing, what with the crazy amount of weekly releases
on the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo
Switch!
Two other
Switch games, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, were No. 10 and 11
on the software
sales chart, respectively.
Several
games on Nintendo
Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U, will be available at a discount but it's not clear whether this
sale is only for
games published by Nintendo, or if it's a global one.
