the TAP yeshiva - inclusion into the Assembly version of the budget and thanked him for his leadership in not only this matter but many others of importance to the Orthodox Jewish community.

the TAP yeshiva - eligibility in his proposed January budget, encouraged to do so by a number of community askonim working closely with Assemblyman Hikind.

TAP's passage, «It's really sad that the Governor, who introduced this proposal for our

yeshiva administrator who suspects that politics may have been to blame.

TAP program for
Yeshivas, that was slated to bring in millions of dollars, was vetoed as well.
An Orthodox Jewish blog reports that Assemblyman Dov Hikind met with Gov. David Paterson this morning and was told there will be a post-Election Day special session and a
TAP program for
yeshivas that the governor vetoed last summer will be on the agenda.
The Tuition Assistance Program, known as
TAP would provide much needed assistance to financially strapped parents struggling to meet their
yeshiva tuition obligations.
