I ended up moving the rug to my 3 season porch and layered a vintage Persian rug on top.

Amazing bathroom features black claw foot tub paired with white marble top accent table over black and pink Persian rug layered over vintage hex tile floor.

There was talk overlaying a more patterned rug on top — and we did try out a few vintage Kilims — but the client decided against it.

I prefer a simple classic with a touch of modern sofa that sits on a vintage rug, a moroccan pouffe with a vintage tray of coloured tea glasses on top.
