My dining room is
in various stages of having a top to bottom
makeover, CLEARLY we are
in early stages here, with plans to finish painting the armoire and the
table (as well as the walls, add a new light fixture etc.).
DISCLAIMER: This
table was just a simple not fancy pine Pottery Barn circa 1990 something, no antiques were maimed or devalued
in this
makeover.

This simple side
table has been given a
makeover with Giverny — a new bright, cheery, clean, cool blue
in the Annie Sloan palette.
I have used homemade Chalk Paint for just about everything
in my house including the repurposed cabinet
in my recent pantry
makeover and my spindle leg
table with grain sack stenciled top.
This
table makeover was the perfect motivation to deal with some of the boxes (and boxes and boxes) of things that had accumulated
in there, preventing the room from really being used.
What a great living room
makeover, I like the wall color choices and I think that
table is one of my favorites
in the room as well.
This
table has been sitting
in my daughter's bathroom since last summer when when we completed her room
makeover.
My daughter and middle son decided to switch rooms the other day to do their own
makeover of sorts, (still working on it) and I noticed my daughter still had the original «temporary» carpet remnant with purple duck tape binding as her main rug
in her room under her little
table and chair set.
Unlike home
makeover shows on TV, most of us don't have designers running around styling our
tables for us, bringing
in the perfect pieces, completing our room design
in a matter of hours and photoshopping out any imperfections for the final reveal.

I had to swag my dining room chandelier to centered over the
table (which required re-wiring some parts), replacing the mirror sliding doors
in my bedroom with my DIY craftsman style bi-fold doors, building a little cabinet door for a spot
in my kitchen that didn't have one since my kitchen
makeover over a year ago, re-paint my bathroom and bedroom shiplap walls, and of course deep clean and find some fresh artwork for a few spots
in my home.
I have been
in a spring
makeover mood, so after our purchase of a new grey couch, I added some lovely blue - green pillows and wanted the
table to match.
