Open gpedit.msc and navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu &
Taskbar > Hide the notification area
Right click
Taskbar > Properties > Start Menu tab > Uncheck Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the
taskbar > Apply > OK.
To access this panel, you can also right - click on
the Taskbar > Properties and click on the Notification ares: Customize button.
To do so open the Local Group Policy Editor or gpedit.msc and navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and

Now, in Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 / 8, If you need regular and faster access, you can right - click on
the taskbar > Toolbars > Touch keyboard.

Well if you face this issue, from the WinX Menu, open Settings

Taskbar in the left pane.

> «Personalization»
> «Colors»
> «Transparency Effects» which now affects apps in addition to Start,
taskbar, Action Center, and title bars.
