Mundane category designations aside, the
presentation is both entertaining and surprisingly useful, offering up a collection of genuinely
tasty recipes that highlight Portland's iconic
food obsessions, including home - grown > everything <, pickling, brew pubs, coffee, and the three «F's» — Fresh, Foraged and Fusion.
We started with a short
presentation introducing the concept of the
food truck as a business model, and profiling a few of our favorites — Curry Up Now, The Chairman (think Chairman Mao) and Taim Mobile (taim odum means very
tasty in Hebrew!)
