teach them about their birth families through pictures and letters that I asked their first mom's to write to them.

about Birth Control, so your suggestion is to change the
teaching.
If you are preaching,
teaching, or writing
about the
birth narratives in the Gospels (Matthew 2, Luke 1 - 2, etc), this is a book you absolutely must read.

teaching is more radical than the popular opinion of the present Pope, based on his views

teaching that a vast majority of the polity (including Catholics) have abandoned.
Barth's reticence
about «Mother of God» language echoes Calvin's reservations, but both theologians embraced without hesitation the
teaching of the Council of Ephesus, which acclaimed Mary as Theotokos, the God - bearer, or, as Jaroslav Pelikan renders this term, «The one who gave
birth to the One who is God.»
I would only preach
about the
birth of Jesus one time per year, or maybe every other year, but preach and
teach about the resurrection of Jesus every chance I got, and especially leading up to Easter Sunday.
But if you already feel educated
about the benefits of home
birth and natural childbirth, it may be unnecessary to take a class that is going to spend a lot of time
teaching you
about the benefits of having a natural
birth!
If your class is
taught at your birthing location, you will learn a lot
about the culture of
birth at that location (or, how they recommend that you
birth your baby), and your childbirth educator will do her / his best to provide a brief overview of coping techniques with any remaining time.
A great reason for doulas to attend this workshop is that is will provide information
about birth that is not
taught in doula trainings.
