Professionally, I am a past president of the Association of Family Therapists of Northern California (AFTNC), and a clinical member of the American Family
Therapy Academy (AFTA), where I have co-lead the «Men's Institute» and the
special interest group on «Masculinities».
To provide low cost, high quality training to clinicians who serve clients who are unable to afford private EFT - with a
special interest in marginalized
groups who experience discrimination and maybe cautious about engaging in
therapy as a process that would hold relevance to them.
Special interests include late adolescence and emerging adulthood, parenting teenagers, adult life transitions, aging, dementia, trauma recovery, women's issues, eating disorders, body image, LGBTQ concerns, substance abuse, social shyness,
group therapy, and couples
therapy.
