think the
soup broth could definitely be made in advance and / or frozen, but I'm not sure about the add ins... The soba, veggies and tofu are all pretty delicate and I would be worried about freezing them and things getting weird / soggy.
And although these simple
soups and
broths may warm me up momentarily and provide a brief 30 minute feeling of consolation, if you give me a hot bowl of curried chicken stew, I might feel warm and fuzzy inside all night long and
think that maybe I could almost become friends with wintertime.

soup base; rather than use beef
broth in chili, I usually use water, and stir in some beef base.
I am
thinking soup mixture included the chicken

think of it, practically any leftovers (within reason) will make a good

think I might add in additional cup or two of miso

think of that I didn't differently: used homemade veg
broth I had in the freezer (I'm vegetarian though my husband isn't and he

soup was great) used mixed dried mushrooms (you can get a large amount from costco for not too much - I keep them on hand for all my dried mushroom needs) did a healthy glug of sherry (more than the recipe) into the mushrooms when they were done sauteeing added spinach at the end to the
soup For the dumplings, the only thing I did that was different than what many would do is use an egg from one of my hens - other than that I made them just as other people did but mine were full of flavor and could be eaten plain.
This was a first for me to use coconut water in place of
broth — I
think it enhanced the sweetness of the
soup, although I don't know if its totally necessary to make a tasty dish.

think vegetable
broth would be just fine, since this version of tortilla
