Topical Analgesic in Stick form.
Long thought to be an irritant, capsaicin (the chemical that makes chile hot) is actually a counter-irritant — an irritation to an irritation — that reduces pain and swelling, and so is useful as
a topical analgesic.
Then it is used in pepper spray,
topical analgesics, and extremely hot sauces.
Certain medicines, such as
topical analgesics or Tylenol and Ibuprofen can be used to relieve the pain and discomfort as well.

Capsaicin is already broadly used as an
analgesic in
topical ointments, where its properties as an irritant overwhelm nerves, rendering them unable to report pain for extended periods of time.
Mint has
analgesic properties due to it's cooling effects when applied directly and is used in many
topical pain creams.
