Our
hope is to have the U.S. government, in partnership with the many stakeholders in the food system, including producers, manufacturers, retailers, non-profits and food advocacy groups, faith organizations as well as
leaders from state,
tribal, and local government, join in using the Call to Action as an opportunity to further individual and collective actions on preventing food waste.
After the Quinault adopted a comprehensive climate change policy in 2008,
tribal leaders traveled to U.N. climate talks in Poznan, Poland,
hoping to compare notes with a variety of nations — including the United States.
