Tropical tradition products are top quality products and Tropical Traditions Gold label Virgin Coconut oil lives up to their well deserved reputation for outstanding quality control!
Besides organic wheat and other organic grains that were tested positive for glyphosate and removed from
the Tropical Traditions product line, they also tested and found glyphosate present in organic flax seeds, organic hemp, and organic freeze - dried strawberries.
Nothing has changed in terms of
the Tropical Traditions product line, other than it is still growing.

Tropical Traditions also announced that it will phase out the USDA certified organic certification on its privately labeled
products by the end of 2015.
Tropical Traditions began testing all of its
products, and also tested its certified organic feed used to feed their pastured chickens and turkeys.

As this won out on my five - star scale of truly natural harvested organic
products and top quality adherence to standards, was it a surprise that I found
Tropical Traditions coconut oil living well up to my expectations?
Products containing those ingredients are no longer available on the
Tropical Traditions websites.

product line associated with these crops, pending further investigation, and verification by laboratory analysis that they are glyphosate - free.

Tropical Traditions customers explaining why the company has had so many of its
products out of stock or back ordered at the beginning of 2015.
After reading new research about the issue of «crop desiccation» done by using glyphosate on wheat and other grains just prior to harvest,
Tropical Traditions decided to first test some commercial wheat
products with wheat grown in Montana, North Dakota, and Canada.

products into their glyphosate - tested line of
products.
Tropical Traditions has been in the process of testing all of its
products for the presence of glyphosate since that discovery.
Replacing the USDA organic standards is a new, more rigorous standard of classifying the types of
products Tropical Traditions sells to the public.
Tropical Traditions has a ZERO tolerance level for GMOs, herbicides, and pesticides, and since the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) allows small residue amounts of pesticides and herbicides approved by the EPA for conventional crops to be present in USDA Organic certified
products, we knew that we had to develop our own standards to both use in purchasing
products directly from producers, as well as to educate our consumers on our own values and standards.
A new investigation by
Tropical Traditions reveals that many
products in the organic grain market in the U.S. contain glyphosate residue at levels almost the same as conventional grains.
All of the
Tropical Traditions coconut oils and coconut
products that have been tested for glyphosate can be found on the Glyphosate - tested page of Healthy

Tropical Traditions also announced that they will be phasing out the USDA organic certification on its
products, and replacing it with their new Healthy
Traditions logos.
In late 2015,
Tropical Traditions stopped carrying the USDA certified organic seal on all of their own
products.
Tropical Traditions recently announced that they had established their own standards for non-GMO
products.
Tropical Traditions is the first company to make a truly organic
product from the water of organic coconuts which is raw and fermented with fair - trade organic Muscabado whole cane sugar.
Late in 2014, when
Tropical Traditions started to test some of their certified organic
products for the presence of glyphosate, and found out much to their horror that many USDA certified organic
products were contaminated with glyphosate, they also tested their certified organic poultry feed.
I love
Tropical Traditions... my favorite
products aren't food related... I love their dish liquid and their laundry detergent.
I love coconut
products, but have never tried

products almost exclusively in cooking and exclusively on my skin since 2000, and I have been your cheerleader since that time.

products for the presence of the herbicide glyphosate.
