this is a super delicate dough, so
try not to handle it more than you need to, and if it gets too soft,
stick it
in the fridge or
freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
Next time I'll be doubling this batch, as we went through them quickly between the three kids and two adults - plus I'm going to
try sticking half the batch
in the
freezer, possibly a couple to a
freezer safe bag - that way I can literally grab a bag and go when mornings are super hectic.
So I
tried making these with lemon first, but Great lakes gelatin is a bit stinky when wet, and I think I burned it a bit, then
stuck in the
freezer.
