TTA is a surgical procedure where we move the Tibial Tuberosity forward to change the angle of the Patellar Ligament to neutralize the tibeofemoral shear force during weight bearing.
When the pelvis tilts forward to create the hinge at the hip, the ischial tuberosities travel upwards, which pulls the hamstrings much longer and tighter.
