U game announcements... Hmm, I would say that Nintendo is prepping for an onslaught of big, console - moving titles this holiday.
It's a miserable failure, which is why E3 was so low on new Wii
U game announcements.

game on Wii
U will be based off New Super Mario Bros..
Today Eclipse Games made the
announcement that their upcoming
game, Tachyon Project, will be heading to Wii

announcements of a new Advance Wars, Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus, and / or Paper Mario, and maybe the
announcement of Animal Crossing
U, as long as it doesn't release this year (I'm still playing the 3DS
game).

Nintendo are looking to keep their foot on the accelerator for the Nintendo Switch's second year, and with the fan pleasing
announcement of Bayonetta 3 back at The
Game Awards, it made sense that they would also bring the critically acclaimed original and Wii
U exclusive sequel to the Switch.
Unfortunately, we don't know when the
game will be released on Wii
U, as Broken Rules didn't make a formal

U roster, let's take a look back at all the newcomer character trailers released for the

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict the
announcement of a new Smash
game, whether it be a brand new title or Super Smash Bros Wii
U Deluxe, either of which I'd be honestly fine with, the latter being an absolute stone cold masterpiece of Nintendo quality plastered all over.
It's a quick jump to the conclusion that the functionality is there primarily for the assumed imminent

announcement recently, though Black Ops 2 is the only
game to announce such a port for a timely three - platform release.
During the Nintendo Direct that aired earlier this afternoon, Nintendo rather oddly snuck in a seemingly big
game announcement: Paper Mario Color Splash for Wii
U.
One of last year's neat surprises was the
announcement of a new Star Fox
game for Wii
U, an
announcement that got a lot of people talking.
So this
announcement that one of their leading orriginal
games for Wii
U will be free just for purchasing the new Mario Kart is another way they have made it up to people like me.
We expect that Star Fox and Xenoblade Chronicles X will be the stars of the show, though naturally plenty of 3DS and Wii
U games will make an appearance along with some new
announcements.
Nintendo just made a huge
announcement — the new
game Yoshi's Woolly World will be released in North America on Oct. 16 for Wii
U, and a new Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo will also be available in addition to the three smaller sized, but not quite as cuddly, yarn Yoshi amiibo figures.
Feasibly, as they could be updated ports, the turn around from an
announcement to release for any previous Wii
U games could be very fast.
So when tasked with developing a psychological action thriller, it was clear that the
game would be scary, exciting and make about as much sense as Nintendo's Wii
U announcement at this year's E3.

U platform, and set the stage for our upcoming

That's right this morning's Nintendo Direct led to the
announcement not one
game, but a whole bunch of new
games announced for the Wii
U!
We need Nintendo to quit worrying about the others and just build a better Nintendo structure with a larger
game library for the Wii
U and more content that is original, unique, creative and exclusive to the Wii
U. I'm crossing my fingers we will hear some of those
announcements at E3!
These
announcements included the reveal of a Shovel Knight amiibo figure from Yacht Club Games that unlocks exclusive features for the hit
game on Wii
U and Nintendo 3DS, making it the first indie
game to support amiibo technology.
The next thing that really interested me was the
announcement that certain Wii
games will be made available to download on the Wii
U.
