revealed their new Super Smash Bros. video
game for the 3DS and Wii
U at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013, featuring the «Villager» (むらびと, Murabito) as a new playable character.

Nintendo took a moment out of today's Nintendo Direct to
reveal that Wii
games are finally headed to the Wii
U eShop.
Other notable announcements included the
reveal of an HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii
U console, a new Wii
U bundle featuring Splatoon and Super Smash Bros. for Wii
U and news that the Pokémon
games that started it all — Pokémon Red Version, Pokémon Blue Version andPokémon Yellow Version — will launch with new wireless communication functionality in the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS system on Feb. 27.
So far there has still yet to be any word on Scizor and Darkrai coming over to the Wii
U version of the
game, but should Emploean be the Pokemon that gets
revealed, there is no reason at all Bandai Namco can't turn around and announce a dlc pack involving the three fighters for the Wii
U game, but for now we'll just have to wait and see.

The Nintendo Direct also announced Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter
Games for Wii
U, and
revealed that additional SEGA
Game Gear
games would be coming to the Virtual Console service for Nintendo 3DS.
Along with the newly
revealed Switch port of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Nintendo has announced it is bringing another Wii
U title, the Zelda hack - and - slash
game Hyrule Warriors, to its hybrid console later this year.
The
game was first
revealed at the Nintendo E3 2014 Digital Event and was released for the Wii
U on May 29, 2015.
