This is particularly surprising after the slapdash approach of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and perhaps has to do with the fact that such effects - heavy scenes were always going to be a challenge this side of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, so they did their homework first.

We'll soon be seeing a lot more of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when the Mad Titan takes centre stage for Avengers: Infinity War, but in the meantime we've had to make do with his post-credits scenes in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as a brief appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Despite some uneven pacing, «Avengers: Age of Ultron» does a good job setting up the events of Marvel films to come, and serves as a strong directorial finish for Joss Whedon in the Marvel cinematic universe.

But wait, what do I mean by another Ultron Year?

The main plot, a rogue AI's attempt to end humanity, has little to do with Infinity War, but one of the reasons Age of Ultron isn't especially good is because it keeps pausing to set up the next wave of movies.

For his possibly playable look, seen above, he's donning his Reploid green armor, purple cape, and beam saber seen in Mega Man X. It's likely Sigma will throw his cape off when entering battle because it was a trademark in the Mega Man game and a move Ultron Sigma does when fused together.

I guess the problem is that they're villains, so how do you market a standalone film centred around villains as prep for Age of Ultron?

A new Ant - Man and the Wasp trailer debuted today, and for those still reeling from the heavy events of Avengers: Infinity War, it appears this Marvel Studios sequel will do exactly what the first film did following Avengers: Age of Ultron: allow some levity and fun to permeate the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The collateral damage attending their world - saving exploits against the villainous likes of the terrorist Hydra organization and the rampaging robot Ultron — smashed cities, mass casualties — have the world demanding that the brakes be put on these too - powerful do - gooders.

Yeah, they have a clear vision and should be lauded for executing on that vision, but let's face it, they don't have a perfect track record — Iron Man 2 and 3 were god awful, first Captain America sucked, Thor films while having a great cast are ugly movies to look at, Avengers Age of Ultron ended with them essentially fighting Iron Man armor yet again.
