best things about Tarantino films in general and Django
Unchained in particular is that the viewer is never sure where the narrative is going.
Like many westerns, «Django
Unchained» latches onto a simple, stark picture of
good and evil, and takes homicidal vengeance as the highest — if not the only — form of justice.
If I didn't think so before I saw this film,
Unchained convinced me that Tarantino is arguably the
best director in movies today.
There is also a Quentin Tarantino featurette as
well as a Django
Unchained soundtrack spot.
And if «Django
Unchained» is not
better, it is arguably more radical, both as cinema and as (fanciful) history.

Excellent performances all around, a masterfully written script, excellent direction, awesome cinematography, and along with a great soundtrack make Django
Unchained not only one of the
best films of the year, but also a definite Oscar contender.
For the rest of the movie, Bond pursues the leader of SPECTRE, Hans Oberhauser — played by the usually reliable Christoph Waltz (Django
Unchained), hampered here by a poor script — while
good old M — now played by Ralph Fiennes (The Invisible Woman), after Judi Dench's departure — battles C for control of Britain's future.
Django
Unchained is too long and the third act loses some steam, but the movie is still great and gets even
better the more I think about it.

best movies of 2012.
It can be weird to hear laughter in a film as violent as this one (though I assume I will, as
well, in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django
Unchained), yet I heartily joined in.
