Now, you can use your
United miles on another Star Alliance
airline, but you can't convert them to be something
other than United miles.
However, if the flight was rescheduled for reasons
other than weather or strike — ie, the
airline itself screwed up — you might try hitting up
United for your expenses.
However, Miles & More members still have better access to Singapore long - haul business
than some
other Star Alliance partners like
United Airlines, so this is a reasonable alternative if you don't have many Membership Rewards points.
