Unlimited earnings, the Indie Author Power Pack's push for the bestseller
list, the importance of your
book launch, the Nook Press push for print on demand and traditional publishing's view on contracts with indies.
I just received the following response to my question about whether those who download a
book through the Kindle
Unlimited program would be
listed as a «verified purchase» for review purposes.
The first
book is available on Kindle
Unlimited, but not the second one... and the third and fourth
books have not been released and do not have TBR dates
listed on goodreads.
You can use Kindle
Unlimited to build your
list, rotate in and out exclusive «amazon only»
books in the program and then upsell additional
books in the niche / genre you are in.
Using a second wishlist only for Prime ebooks, I have currently only 57 ebooks on that
list, compared to over 1200 on my other wishlist (with some other items and some ebooks already bought), so I can safely say, a lot of
books I REALLY want to read are not available with Amazon Prime nor
Unlimited, and for that reason alone I think paying extra for
Unlimited will not be worth it.

This meant that, when readers browsed the Kindle
Unlimited list of
books, the
books weren't showing up high enough in the ranked categories for readers to find them there.
Now that I am no longer a member of Kindle
Unlimited, I can
list my
book all over the internet (which is something I am working on right now).
Rather, if a
book really is worth $ 5.99, but has been priced lower based on how the market had been prior to Kindle
Unlimited, if that
book is enrolled in KDP Select, it might be a good time to reconsider its
list price.
A higher
list price may actually make the
book more enticing to Kindle
Unlimited, and downloads through Kindle
Unlimited will improve the sales rank.
But there are a couple of ways to find a
list of all the
books that you've downloaded from Kindle
Unlimited and Prime Reading, and it even shows the
books that you've returned.
If you login to your Amazon account and go to the Manage Your Content and Devices page you can select to view
books from Kindle
Unlimited and Prime Reading from the drop - down
list.
If you are hesitating about getting Kindle
Unlimited ebook subscription, this may be the ultimate argument to go for it — we've counted how many KU eligible
books are on the
list of Top 100 Kindle bestsellers of 2017.
They are one of the few promo groups that also
list whether your discounted
books are available on Kindle
Unlimited, and even on Amazon's audio
book network Audible.

books (specifically my Emperor's Edge
books, which are part of a series I completed over a year ago), most likely because the permafree
Book 1 is being downloaded a lot less now — there are more free titles available at Amazon and elsewhere, and also I believe KU has siphoned off some of the deal seekers who used to peruse the free
lists.
