To be sure I had no trouble with the glaze, I made the
browned butter as soon as the
bread went in the oven, then stirred it well to combine the separated stuff when I was ready to

used were (they had fallen on the floor and were preeeeetty busted up and
brown) or just this recipe being absolute perfection but the

using 1/2 cup «doves farm gf
brown bread flour» and 1/2 cup «doves farm all purpose white gf flour».
I
used one cup of
brown sugar, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar... recipe would make two loafs of
bread, and about 48 muffins... would be perfect if it works.
For this recipe I
used gluten free panko instead of regular
bread crumbs and
brown rice pasta to make the whole dish gluten free.

breads the egg wash could be
used as you say to «seal» the
bread, but mostly it's
used to give crispiness and shine to a crust, as well as to help gluten - free
bread crusts to
brown.
You can toast the
bread in a regular toaster, but I prefer to
use the oven's broiler, where I can carefully watch the
bread to get it toasted just until it is golden
brown on both sides.
Brown rice flour can be
used as a straight replacement in things like roux and other sauce thickeners, as well as dredges or
breading for foods.
