apiary based in Pitton, Wiltshire, giving the winning entry an extra special personal seal of approval.
Japanese honeybees (Apis cerana japonica) maintained at the
apiary in Tamagawa University (Tokyo, Japan) and giant hornets (Vespa mandarinia japonica) caught near the
apiary were
used for all experiments.
