uses smart phone apps (Android and iSO) to capture the interests of print - book owners and offer them
ebook editions of those print books.
But those backlists aren't forgotten; on the contrary, technologically savvy publishers are now experimenting with
using those backlist
ebooks to add even more value to digital purchases by
bundling several titles.
Content holders can
use these as promotional giveaways at speaking engagements, can
bundle the
ebook editions seamlessly with the print editions, can offer them as incentives for signing up on their websites, and much more.
Let's further assume that reader
bundles their summary with the original
ebook they bought and sells it via a
used ebook marketplace.
