Acceleration is quick and passing is assertive, and
V6 feels up to the task of hauling three rows of passengers and some gear.

The
V6 makes its presence
felt on startup with a rich whoop of revs, but while it's quiet in normal driving it finds a clear voice when you
up the pace.
The X4 comes
up a little short for a rival to the GLC 43 Coupe, but the # 55,188 Porsche Macan GTS provides similar firepower (with 355bhp from its turbocharged
V6) and once again, more satisfying handling and a nimbler
feel.
A step
up to the AMG cars brings a completely different
feel, backed by either a 362 - horsepower twin - turbocharged
V6 in the new Mercedes - AMG C43, or a 503 - horsepower turbocharged V8 in the C63.
The Wrangler's
V6 feels somewhat anemic and one where you have to work it to get
up to speed at a decent clip.

Unveiled today in Detroit, the 2016 Tacoma is new from the ground
up, with a high - strength steel body and frame, retuned suspension to improve on - road
feel, 2.7 L four - cylinder, and an all - new 3.5 L Atkinson cycle
V6, mated to a six - speed automatic transmission, or new six - speed manual for the
V6.
That's far more torque than you get with the gasoline
V6, and not only can a diesel Chevy Colorado handle even bigger towing jobs, it'll also
feel stronger and smoother pulling your trailer
up highway grades.
Lo and behold, it's a change you can
feel: where previous Camry
V6s felt like a strong engine was attached to a frame with somewhat less strength, the tested XSE
felt buttoned -
up and solid.
With 268 horsepower and 280 pound - feet of torque available, it's down on power but
up on twist compared to the old QX50's naturally aspirated 3.7 - liter
V6, but it
feels much more usable in a daily environment.
It has a hugh trunk space that fits 4 sets of golf clubs and assorted gear with room to spare.I have a bigger car but I

up and speed is geat especially with the
V6.
While it does
feel luxurious, and serve
up every possible option on the Grand Cherokee menu, it still
feels like a stretch for a
V6 - powered Grand Cherokee.
The
V6 engine has enough power to get it
up to speed on the highway, but it lacks punch and can
feel strained during passing maneuvers, especially when full of luggage and passengers.
I love the
feel of punching the throttle and
feeling the
V6 wind
up through the revs, shifts snapping off smartly, propelling the car ahead with the kind of authority previously reserved for Cadillacs wearing the V badge.
And, while the V8 engine is more than
up to the task for hauling and towing, in actual everyday work situations we found the 5.6 - liter engine didn't
feel as effortless as the twin - turbocharged
V6 in the F - 150.
Chalk it
up to either this author's addiction to horsepower or the Trailhawk's hefty curb weight, but the base 3.6 - liter
V6 — while capable of doing the job —
feels a bit strained at times out on the road.
