The numerous
VR games shown was a great reminder
of the PlayStation
VR, a strong differentiator when compared to other consoles.
For Honor and the new South Park RPG stole the
show, but Watch Dogs 2, new
VR tech, and Tom Clancy
games made splashes
of their own.
Lets just hope the market can hold on until full
games release and
show the true potential that
VR could offer the future
of gaming.

games on the level
of Resident Evil 7 at the
show; the big reason Sony's move into
VR got me excited was the hope they'd put serious resources behind making real
games, not stuff like Until Dawn: Rush
of Blood.
Last year, Bethesda's
show concentrated on building up the company's existing
games, since 2017 releases included
VR versions
of Doom and Fallout 4, The Evil Within 2, and expansions for Dishonored 2 and The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
We also need the reassurance
of Sony's investment in the
VR games and to
show the gaming world that
VR is still very much relevant as it has ever been.
The PSVR has just surpassed 1,000,000 units sold, that's better than expected so I can guarantee there will be lots
of new
VR games, not just indie titles but big full on AAA
games that will really
show off the PSVR and bring it to the mainstream.
