VR games — the focus
is always on the manufacturers to deliver.
While it
was showing plenty of promise before launch, the end result
is a less than satisfying
VR game.

's important to back developers now so that everyone who purchases a
VR headset now or in the future has unique
games to play that can only
be experienced on such a device and really
show what it can do.
The numerous
VR games shown was a great reminder of the PlayStation
VR, a strong differentiator when compared to other consoles.
Much like Doom just before it, the trailer
showed off what appeared to
be a fully playable Fallout
game in
VR.
There
is no doubt that this
game is going to
show off PlayStation
VR's true capabilities.

'm hoping we'll see
games on the level of Resident Evil 7 at the
show; the big reason Sony's move into
VR got me excited
was the hope they'd put serious resources behind making real
games, not stuff like Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.
Over 100
games are currently in development for PlayStation
VR which gets to
show just how much effort Sony
is putting into making sure
VR is the future.
We also need the reassurance of Sony's investment in the
VR games and to
show the gaming world that
VR is still very much relevant as it has ever
been.
The
game was built to
show off the best that
VR has to offer, so it
's well worth considering.
The PSVR has just surpassed 1,000,000 units sold, that
's better than expected so I can guarantee there will
be lots of new
VR games, not just indie titles but big full on AAA
games that will really
show off the PSVR and bring it to the mainstream.
You can choose for yourself whether or not these
games would have likely
been successful, although the term «
VR»
is showing up there an awful lot; these
are still the very early stages of concept design, so it
's impossible to know.
This year
's show saw the return of a missing God of War, a stand - alone
VR headset, a South Park
game that
's just as vulgar and hilarious as the
show, a way to serve on the bridge of a Federation starship, and much more.
Mixed reality
shows a player inside your
game and
is the best way to convey what it
's like to
be inside
VR.
I feel the discussion about Neo will
be alongside PlayStation
VR to reinforce the power of the new PS4 model, as well as
show new
games that PlayStation fans can pick up with the new console and PlayStation
VR later this year.

Game Show conference, Sony revealed that that their virtual reality headset would officially
be named as Playstation
VR.
The
game's about as as insane as the
show and the
VR is pretty neat and designed to
be a good deal less frantic on the eye holes (meaning those of you who get a bit woozy from

VR remakes, mobile titles and more, but despite having a packed press conference, it signed the whole thing off by saying that everything
shown was going to
be launched during this calendar year.
First revealed all the way back in March 2014 under codename of Project Morpheus, the final version of the kit
was unveiled a year later and the name PlayStation
VR was given to it at the 2015 Tokyo
Game Show (TGS).
Lastly for the
VR montage we get a look at FFXV which
shows scenes in a whole new look, seems the entire
game can
be played in 1st person view, giving you a whole new look and experience at playing this blockbuster title.
Interestingly enough, the number two spot goes to Superhot
VR,
showing just how successful the
game has
been since it
was launched only in July 2017, giving it only 6 months to move up the «most downloaded» list.
Batman: Arkham
VR,
is one of the best
VR games for the PlayStation
VR and really
shows what
is possible.
Many of the
games on
show, however,
were little more than tech demos and with many
VR headsets due to launch within the next 12 months, the medium urgently requires real
games for success.
