Valspar doesn't have it written at all.
Valspar does not have it on the label, but it does have a primer in it.
If Valspar doesn't have the color option you like Ace Hardware can color match for you....

Valspar Cabinet Enamel paint and I was told I didn't need to prime.

Valspar - Lowes satin finish) but don't have a top coat on it as it looks too shiny - So please

Our whole house is
done BM and SW colors but in either
Valspar or Porter Paint (we used a friend's professional painter discount there) paint.

Valspar paint for projects that we are
doing in our home so it all looks familiar.

Valspar Chalky Finish paint in Boot Black Polycrylic by Minwax wood filler and putty knife drawer knobs drill Purdy paint brushes (the smaller one is great for
doing the sides!)

I know Rustoleum makes ones as

It was also raining buckets when I
did the acrylic coat, so I'm not sure if the crackling was caused by the acrylic coat over the
Valspar, the humidity, or both.
I wish I'd just waited and added a second coat of
Valspar when I had the time to
do it right... they were looking SO good!!
Not sure if I could even get that paint here in the UK, but I ended up with
Valspar Atlantic Schooner and the dresser looks loads better, even if I didn't nail the color exactly!

did not have the specific color we used when I wrote this post but I still added the link because it's really good paint * The color is secluded garden and we found it at Lowes.
Lowe's had pre-sanded and pre-cut pine boards in the perfect sizes ready to go so we used those and painted them white (
Valspar Swiss Coffee) before
doing the shelf installation.
Did you have to use anything as a top coat, and if so will wax work with the
valspar paint?

valspar has the glaze anymore so you may have to mix your own by using the paint and clear glaze.
I just recently used chock paint for the first time now I used the
Valspar chalk paint that is out now and one of us but I
did the clear finish over it but I still feel like it's drying hi

I have a question — when you wrote about BM Soft Chamois in
Valspar Signature,
do you mean you had that BM hue color matched and mixed at Lowe's in their
Valspar Signature paint?
So, long story short, wanted to share that I had amazing success w / your plaster of paris recipe mixed w /
Valspar satin paint sample (which I believe
does contain primer, but it
did not pose any problem at all).
Valspar has one and it
does a better job than Behr paint with additives to smooth brush strokes.
You mentioned you don't like
Valspar paint?
Valspar samples don't have the primer, but if you use one of their top of the line... it hardens fast.
I would get new paint — Satin finish always works well for me, but don't use
Valspar as it has a primer in it and gets too thick when making DIY chalk paint mixes.
I used
Valspar in one of my experiments and I
did paint with it, but I never used it again.
I was sorry to hear about
Valspar though, because I had planned to use it for the top coat... won't be
doing that now!
The paint was
Valspar — the brand you don't recommend.
It really doesn't alter the color much either... I love
Valspar paints and am so glad I finally figured out the problem... it was a mystery for a while!
Do not use
Valspar paint with it or any Paint and Primer in One paint.
