1 tbsp IMO syrup (see Note 1 below) 1/2 tbsp coconut flour 2 tbsp
vanilla whey
protein powder (I used this one
by MyProtein) 3 - 4 drops of natural food coloring (see Note 2 below for more on this)
INGREDIENTS 2 whole eggs 1 large banana 4 scoops Naked Whey
protein powder 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 cup of oat or quinoa flour 1/2 teaspoon
vanilla extract (to taste) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (optional to make a fluffier waffle) PREPARATION Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together either
by hand or using a blender / food processor.
On top of that, these pancakes are 100 % healthy as they're free from refined sugar, as I've only sweetened the recipe
by using the natural sweetness from the banana,
vanilla drops and creamy
protein powder.
Beyond the chocolate - hazelnut deliciousness, they're hiding fiber from whole - wheat flour,
protein by way of Greek yogurt and
vanilla protein powder, and to top it off, healthy fats via flaxseeds and walnuts.
Because of the mellow
vanilla flavor of Orgain
Protein Powder, I can go beyond smoothies and shakes
by mixing it in muffin recipes, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal and more.
Amp up the nutrition
by adding in a scoop of your favorite
vanilla protein powder or even a handful of spinach to get some greens in for the day.
