The various food movements are also educating us about the health benefits of the different ways food is cooked and the type of ingredients we're consuming.

foods that you can learn about, working with a dehydrator, making flax crackers and granolas and raw desserts like Glad Pies and raw puddings, it's definitely a good intro to the raw
food movement and the underlying philosophy as well as the recipes and techniques.
As the Paleo
movement has grown,
various researchers and nutrition experts have offered their own slant on it, in many cases broadening the list of
foods.
Character transformations also make their devious debut, most notably the hilarious side effect of becoming obese should you eat too many
food items during a single game - life, drastically slowing down
movement speed and altering
various weapon stats.
This year's issue looks at
various transformative
movements underway in the world of art, design,
food, wellness, and fashion and how they are changing the way we travel.
It would be cool to see a wide collection of maps covering many different issues, not just climate and
food production, but, for instance, poverty and wealth, arms production and war, clothing production and leisure time, education levels, consumption, production, health, population growth and decline,
movement of immigrants, human rights, animal populations, housing ownership, housing starts, anything basically which can be measured in a visual map... not just for the US but as global maps, collected on pages where you could drag them around to sit on top of each other and try and make sense of the
various impacts...
Various exposés and polemics, such as the powerful film
Food, Inc. and the very popular books by Michael Pollan, have contributed to a growing
movement concerned to investigate the treatment of animals on farms and to advocate for its betterment.
