Recipe 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 large onion, chopped 1 package (10 ounces) fresh crimini mushrooms, sliced 1 jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped 4 cups water 1 pound sweet potatoes or yams, peeled and cut into 1 - inch chunks 1 - inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into matchstick pieces 1 teaspoon fine sea salt 1 to 2 tablespoons tamari (soy sauce) 2 to 3 handfuls
