Veggie Snack Box — Hummus is also one of my favorite
snacks when served with vegetables, pita
chips or pretzel thins.
While you may not be able to incorporate your favorite brands from childhood or run by the convenience store for a quick
snack bag, fruit and
veggie chips are a much healthier and lighter alternative.
I make some type of guacamole, or avocado dip almost weekly and we enjoy it spooned on top of scrambled eggs, as a spread on a
veggie burger or wrap, or simply as a
snack served with whole grain
chips.
We have had it with
veggie burgers, homemade
chips, and the other day as a
snack I ate a little bit on a cracker with some blue cheese — so good!
I've learned to pack
snacks if the kids and I will be out for any length of time:
veggie sticks, nuts and raisins, granola bars, corn
chips, etc..
There's rice cakes, popcorn,
veggie chips, hummus and carrots, apple and peanut butter, Larabars, Kind bars, Pure Bars and fresh fruit is always the perfect
snack!
