Konami has responded to
Videogamer's questions
on this matter, explaining that «Konami Digital Entertainment, including Mr. Kojima, will continue to develop and support Metal Gear products.
In a statement sent to
Videogamer, Konami said both them and Kojima will continue to work
on Metal Gear products:
Though I am an amateur athlete, I decided to put
on my [469] clan tag hat and see how the
videogamer inside me reacted to the stuff.

on a «new Nintendo platform» ahead of a possible announcement by Nintendo at GDC.
