exhibition, on
view from 2 November to 21 December, features ten new paintings that reinterpret
details of the iconic McDonald's logo.
Just as 19th century American Realists shunned romanticized
views of their world, the artists included in this
exhibition have abandoned conventional ideals of scenic beauty to depict, in
detail, unremarkable scenes of the rural landscape as they encounter it or AS IS.
Titled STUDIO PAINTINGS, the
exhibition is comprised of small - scale oils on panel inspired by the artist's cramped workspace, which he portrays in minute

Among the works included in the
exhibition are Day and Night, (1978), a suite of three prints by Jennifer Bartlett; Fred Becker's John Henry Suite (1935 - 39) that the artist made during his years as a member of the WPA's Federal Arts Project; and a series of photographs by Aaron Siskind, best known for his
detailed views of plain surfaces, who died last year at the age of 100.

The first is an exhaustive reconstruction of Rehberger's solo
exhibitions from 1990 to 2007, reproduced in glossy color, with installation
views and
details of his architecture - based sculptures and other works.
The artist thus creates an

Mark Francis, director of the
exhibition Cy Twombly: In Beauty it is finished, Drawings 1951 — 2008, describes the impetus for this expansive presentation, the source for its title, and
