No CB, no viable RB to set with Freeman in 2019 (no faith in your RB pick), no FB with Flowers available in the 7th, I like the DE but don't see it as a pick when you handicapped them with the trade,
WR like you said is already «old» for a rookie and likely not to develop much more (again the trade made picking one in the 3rd a better choice than TE).
I really hope that Zeke is available for us, but if we trade down again, we will likely be taking
a WR like Treadwell, Coleman or Doctson, and I would really like that.

a WR like a lot of guys want to see apparently.

There is a case for Hines Ward even if it involves including non-standard measures for

Even in 2011 when Eli basically carried the team to the SB, he at least had
WRs like Nicks, Cruz, and Manningham & a decent TE in Ballard, and the defense got much better later in the season & in the playoffs.
The other thing to take into account is take make an evaluation on guys like carl Nassib, the OL we drafted and
the WRs like Louis, Higgins and Payton and what we expect to see out of them next year.

The problem is when you have a guy that drops with a higher draft grade and you pass on him to fill a hole this year... I feel
like both pass rushers (Landry and Davenport) are superior players to the 1st round graded
Wrs, the guards going around 19, and the LBs that will most likely be left on the board.

like a clear first round talent will be there at

like I should go ahead and grab who I considered to be the best
WR in the Draft.
We need a DT that can get to the QB We need a CB to replace Amerson / Smith / both We need a
WR — a true No1 so Coop can move around more or a slot / 3 that doesn't drop the easy balls
like Roberts We need a OLB — that can play ILB in 3 - 4
So it definitely couldn't hurt to pick up an extra
WR, whether it's a veteran or through the draft but probably not early
like TBT12 just said.
Like WRs and RBs, I don't think there is much consensus regarding CBs in this years class.
I think some other needs are more pressing and the
WRs in this draft don't exactly look
like a super strong position group.
Lets say the Cowboys hold off on
WR this year until later in the draft, and the receiving core looks
like the mess it was at the end of last year.
Plus, Wallace can do things
like run
WR screens and reverses very well too.
Hurns has replaced Dez, so its not
like Dallas has to pick a
WR in the first round.

WR, but the didn't want to pay him

And if the Cowboys go and sign a couple of
WR's in FA,
like Moore thinks could happen, and draft one high, you have to think both Dez and Beasley are gone this year instead of next.
I'd
like cam to actually have a
WR with talent at some point.
Because of these limitations, he's going to need to develop into a well above average reader & anticipator of plays and improve on his ability to physically dominate
WRs in their routes —
like Richard Sherman was able to do after going to Seattle.

like what EQ offers and feel that it would be great to draft him (although we need to solve the defensive problems first before spending a day 2 pick for him or any other
WR).
Dallas has a tendency to «visit» with players with similar draft projections when they are intending on striking at a position at a particular place (as a value), but this looks
like Dallas is planning on waiting until the
WR value is «right».
